There are several different question types in Canvas that your lecturers may choose to use, from True/False to Essay format. Quizzes in Canvas are usually automatic and may or may not be timed. You can usually take a quiz simply by clicking into it - but be prepared to finish the quiz before you begin as you may not have the option to pause it and finish it later.
