Zoom, where used, will allow you to
participate in live online classes and other
live learning events. The system is fully
integrated into Canvas Learning Management
System, meaning you can access Zoom from
inside Canvas. If Zoom recordings are made
these will also be accessible from inside
Canvas. MTU provides Zoom Pro accounts for all
students.
Before you use Zoom at MTU, it is
important that you sign into the platform
using your @mycit.ie credentials. If you
previously had a zoom @mycit.ie account, you
will be prompted to switch
- Navigate to https://telcit.zoom.us
- Click Sign in.
- Enter your @mymtu.ie email address.
- Enter your student number and password.
- Download and install
the Zoom Client for Meetings
- Join a Test Meeting to ensure your
software and audio are properly set up
